Preparation methods

- Ingredients :
  - 1 teaspoon (approx. 2 g) YOKO Barista matcha
  - ~50 ml of water at ~70°C
  - Frothed milk of your choice (plant-based or cow's milk)
  - Optional sweetener (agave syrup, honey or sugar)
- Preparation :
  1. Pour the matcha into a bowl and add a small amount of hot (but not boiling) water.
  2. Mix vigorously with a bamboo whisk (chasen) or electric frother until smooth.
  3. Heat and froth the milk.
  4. Combine the whipped matcha with milk and add sweetener (optional).
Matcha lemonade
- Ingredients :
  - 2 teaspoons YOKO Barista matcha
  - 1/2 lemon (juice)
  - 2 cups of water
  - 1/4 cup agave syrup (or other sweetener)
  - A few slices of cucumber (optional)
  - Ice cubes
- Preparation :
  1. In a small bowl, mix the matcha with a few teaspoons of warm water to create a smooth paste.
  2. Place the sliced cucumber into a blender, add the agave syrup, lemon juice and water, then blend briefly.
  3. Combine with prepared matcha paste.
  4. Pour everything through a strainer, add ice cubes and optionally more water to taste.

Matcha with tonic
- Ingredients :
  - 1 teaspoon (approx. 2 g) YOKO Barista matcha
  - ~50 ml warm water
  - ~150 ml tonic (chilled)
  - Ice cubes
- Preparation :
  1. Dissolve matcha in warm water, stirring thoroughly.
  2. Pour the tonic into a glass with ice.
  3. Slowly add melted matcha to create a subtle ombre effect.
  4. Optionally, decorate with a mint leaf and you're done!
